Fife Batteries Limited

Fife Batteries Limited is a battery materials research company specialising in the research and development of low cost, high performance Li-ion materials. We aim to develop new Li-ion materials and cells to meet the growing Li-ion market in both the consumer and EV/HEV sectors.

FiFe Batteries Limited was founded in 2006 by the late Dr Rob Neat. The Company was incorporated in Scotland and has its registered office at 24 Great King Street, Edinburgh, EH3 6QN, United Kingdom.

Management
The company has 3 directors and is led by Dr G Neat as Chief Executive Officer, Mr S Boyes as Managing Director and Mr J Hinde as Technical Director.

• Dr G Neat has a PhD in Polymer Chemistry and spent 13 years with Exxon Mobil, first as a chemist and then in various commercial roles. She has replaced Dr. Rob Neat as the CEO.
• Mr S Boyes has a strong track record in the battery Industry. He successfully managed Duracell Special Batteries Limited for 10 years from 1988 and was appointed as Managing Director of AEA Technology Battery Systems Limited in 1998 where he was instrumental in the consolidation of AEA’s battery activities and in winning major long term contracts.
• Mr J Hinde first joined AEA Technology Batteries in 1996 as a Project Engineer. In 1999 Jason transferred to AGM Batteries Limited, where he was the Technical Manager until returning in 2007 to join FiFe Batteries.
